Frank J. Monteleone has over twenty-five years of experience representing businesses and individuals in a wide variety of legal disputes and transactions. Mr. Monteleone concentrates on litigation and is experienced in all phases of civil and commercial litigation, including trial and appellate practice in state and federal courts. Mr. Monteleone has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of corporate/business disputes, as well as in business litigation involving claims of breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts and unfair competition claims, shareholder and partnership disputes and dissolutions, real estate litigation, theft of trade secrets, civil RICO, professional malpractice, defamation, copyright, trademark, and rights of privacy and publicity.
Mr. Monteleone also regularly advises business and individual clients on a broad range of matters.
Before starting his own firm, Mr. Monteleone was associated with the business law firm of Shearman & Sterling in New York City and was later associated with the law firm of Christy & Viener (now Dentons). He has also served in a capacity of counsel for several prominent New York City law firms. Mr. Monteleone is a graduate of Columbia University (B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa 1983) and New York University School of Law (J.D. 1986).
Mr. Monteleone has been admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of New York since 1987.
